Together As One
Their hearts now mended
cuts stitched closed
tears dry, yet still stained
speakers blairing
voices singing
crowd cheering
jumping,dancing, and laughing
no more pain,scars,and heart ache
souls free, no longer bounded
they broke the chains that held them down
stripes of all colors ,sway,jump,and shake
colorful bracelets swing around in all directions
each bracelet contains a story
no longer afraid
the stories come out from hiding
proudly sharing themselfs with all who choose to listen
quickly hands join together , as a sign of unity
sad smiles spread , in respect for what has passed
lips begin to sing , all together in peaceful harmony
eyes light up with rainbow hearts
hugs are shared among them all, love is always shown
Unitied as one, they all stand proud of who they are
proud of what they have become, never backing down

This was an idea that flew into my head randomly during my TV production class. My teacher let us listen to our ipods and I started listening to Blood on the Dance Floor. As their song "Find your way " played into my ears , i started thinking. Then when "P.L.U.R" started to play, the words to this poem came up in my mind. I quickly started writing this down and i was happy with what I got. This poem is deticated to anyone who is going through a tough time in their life, all SGTC(Slash Gash Terror Crew), Blood on The Dance Floor, and anyone who is self harming. This is 100% an idea that I got from listening to my favorite band. With out them I wouldn't be alive and neither would my best friend. I am forever greatful to Blood on the Dance Floor.
