Appreciate

Appreciate life, like this man did,
Praying he stays awake.
Playing on his phone,
Ran into a giant Oak Tree.
Everyone screamed as they watched him
Clamber out of his car and onto the ground.
I hear him whisper for his family, as sad and hopeless as can be.
Ambulance lights flash off in the distance, rushing down the road.
The man cries, thinking of his wife and child, safe at home.
Escaping this life is easy, but staying can be unbearable.

Appreciate life, as this man did.
