My Doctor

With his big, flapping ears
And a large nose to match,
He chases down adventure
And has villians to catch.
A tiny blue box
That's bigger than you think,
He's ninth down the line
And is gone before you blink.
His name is The Doctor,
But who, what, and why?
Inside he is so lonely
But you'll never see him cry.
He takes aboard companions:
Travels only with the best.
His story has unfolded
So you should know all the rest.
