Sirens

She's lying on the bathroom floor
Bleeding
For the attention
And hoping they won't let her die
He's watching from the doorway
His face a mask of indifference
You can't see that he's dying inside
He just doesn't understand
Their are sirens in the distance
But when they get there
It will be too late
He has the gun and it's loaded
He holds it to his heart
The shot rings through the day
She takes her last breath
Watching him fall
