Sister Forever

People say we look like twins
And we both would agree
But blood relations we don't share
Even though what she sees, I see
We got the same pep in our step
And the same taste
We both love writing
And we have the same size waist
I call her my sister
And you would believe it too
But god couldn't handle us that way
And, trust me, neither could you
Different pretty smiles, okay.
Different colored eyes
We stick together through thick and thin
And never fight over guys
We trust each other with anything
Even our crazy side
But why shouldn't we?
From the other we have nothing to hide
She's taking college course
I'm barely passing math
I'm so glad for that day
That we crossed each other's path
You never know who your true friends are
But this friendship's legit

We are too crazy for anyone else
Too wild and free
We got the world wrapped around our finger
Not many people notice, unfortunately.
This is what life's all about
Finding those friends who stick

We don't let our friendship falter
