Never Make This Mistake

I feel like I am falling apart,
As the world around me flourishes.
I have built my walls,
That hold me back from enjoying life.

I have an interesting story,
One that is sad to tell,
But is meant to influence,
Not encourage.

I was back-stabbed by a guy,
And my best friend deserted me.
I was a emotional wreck,
And I was told that a blade would make me feel better.

I am now completely misunderstood,
I have depression issues,
I have anxiety and panic attacks,
I have a dangerous and unhealthy addiction.

It will ruin your life,
Give you emotional and physical pain.
It will mess up your mind,
And harden your heart.

Never self harm,
Not even once,
Because even that one time may get you addicted.
