The Beautiful light.

I look up to the night sky
and I see such a wonderful thing
a beauty that I can hardly believe
is singing so loudly I can barley breathe.

A tear escapes my eye
as I see her beauty in pain
it's almost like she doesn't see
how amazing and special she is to me.

It has occurred to me now
so many people have stopped to stare
she captivates so many people in her beauty
yet I fear she may never realize just how wonderful she is.

I try and remind her just how wonderful she truly is
sometimes I feel my words don't help
but I'll never give up
because her light is so amazing and bright.

Someday she'll see a glimpse of her reflection
see just how beautiful she truly is
and the darkness that tries to take her away
will be defeated and cast away.

This for her I shall always pray.♥
