I Shall Not Pass This Way Again

In this world so grey and cold,
I walk along an empty road.
I saw my life flash before my eyes;
I will pass this way only once not twice.

I saw a piece of broken plate,
reminded me of my ill fate.
A family destroyed by hate,
Can be saved but was too late.

My life was once wasted,
like the trash I saw around.
I had no faith when I was tested,
I could not stand my ground.

A wilted flower on the road,
Was once alive but now at hold.
A pretty sight was once it was;
now it’s just a piece of grass.

Then I looked up above,
I saw Him looking with love.
He came and saved my life so stupid,
it’s like I had my wishes granted.

In the middle of my hardships,
I say a prayer.
I say thank You. I say Amen.
For I will not pass this way again.
