Just Another Girl

The bell rings.
She walks silently,
Looking straight ahead.
Her eyes see everything,
But never look at anything.
She goes past the doors.
And she sees him holding them.
Her throat feels funny.
She coughs.
He disappears.
She puts herself into her music,
Trying to drown out the world
She hears his voice...
She turns the music up louder.
She can faintly hear him now.
She walks past all kinds of people.
As she turns the corner,
She sees him again.
This time, it's too much.
As the class begins with a bell,
She remembers how it was before he left,
As the tears fall slowly,
She starts to write.
It begins,
The bell rings....
