They say that beauty comes from within,
but I've seen many a pretty girl be as trustworthy as a snake.

They say that you never need makeup, ever.
However, there are many girls who could greatly benefit.

I never claim to be beautiful,
To be lovely without the help of powder and concealer.

I'm only saying that, if my beauty came from within...
I would be ugly.

I've done more than my share of sins.
Lied within lies.
Dug my own grave.
Kept secrets from the world.

If you took a good hard look at me,
you would see the broken pieces.

I'm a puzzle inside.
Why am I this way…?

Just don't stay so far away
because I do need you to know
that just about every broken piece can be fixed.
