Heavens Bell

Midnight falls and the demons dwelling within come out,
Leave me to face them alone I'll lose there's no doubt.
Only pain subliminal at the least not enough to bring death,
The knife goes deep but only enough to stain the flesh.
Piercing lifeless eyes stare back from my reflection,
Controlling the thoughts in my head like some mental contortion.
My hand is shaking and my soull is lost just let me be,
It's harder to hide within the shadows when they follow me.
Pull the trigger and save my tortured soul from hell,
Out rings the final shot sounding almost like Heaven's bell.
