Silver

Rest In Peace, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan

Abruptly you were so gone
Though the light you left shines on
You put your heart into every song
So you're never too far too long

Laughing all of our sorrows away
Hoping you'll return someday
Waiting patiently for your voice
Oh, what a beautiful noise

-Chorus(non-existant)-

You left us with nothing but memories
And you still had so much to see
With all of your words full of heresy
This is all still too hard to believe

Nightmare or dream?
Nothings what it seems
But your soul we'll embrace
Just to see that smile on your face

This is a song awake my soul; and I wrote (our third song together!) and it is still yet unfinished, but I wanted to share with you guys because I feel like this song is going to be amazing. It's about Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan (Drummer of Avenged Sevenfold who passed away in 2009- if you don't already know). It's called 'Silver' because he(Jimmy) and Brian (Aka Synyster Gates- lead guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold) had a side band called 'Silver' and it was a Pop band. (Not a lot of people know that!) It is currently unreleased and it will most likely remain that way. But we hope you enjoy the song because we really enjoyed writing it (or else it wouldn't have been written!)

Anyhow, we decided to take a break on it and finish it another time when another burst inspiration takes place. It was starting to get hard to write and we don't want to write it like that. We want it to write itself because the good songs write themselves, right?
