Mount Olympus

I raise my glass to the upper class
Cheers, congratulations on your perfect lives
Because there’s some of us that lack that luxury
So send me a card from mount Olympus
Living like the gods
Because that’s the only glimpse I’ll get
The high life’s not for me
I tried and tried to climb and climb
Up your mountain high
But still I stand here on the ground
staring through the clouds.
So I tip my hat to how you’ve managed
to keep your numbers small
but after all I’ve been through
just to end up just like you
I wonder if it’s worth the storms
And snow and rocks so far below
So I tip my ht and raise my glass
And wish you all the luck
because I might live with fear and worry
but at least the weather’s fair.
