Infused in your body,
Your mind,
Your heart,
Burning an unmendable slice
Into your memories.
Intertwined with hatred,
Envy and sorrow,
Everyday bringing life to us,
But in the end, subtracting years,
Embezzled in fury, confusion and depression
But wizening you every day,
A feeling to embezzle and embrace
And yet,
To hate and loathe,
It is what drives,
Drives every species forward,
Gives us a reason to live,
A life long lesson
Never fully understood,
Not even by the wisest of beings.
