You Know

I notice you are staring at me,
I grab a sweat shirt and pull it on hurriedly.
Your eyes shoot to the gauze on my arm,
You instantly know i have done more harm.
I was too late you already saw,
Now you know of my huge flaw.
The look in your eyes say you want to cry,
You glance away and ask me why.
I shake my head and say I don't know,
I just like to feel my blood flow.
Running my hand through your blonde hair,
I listen to you say how much you care.
You lean in and press you lips against mine,
As you continue to tell me everything will be fine.
You ask me not to do it, if not for me then for you,
I saw that I will try not too.
But I have said that to someone before,
As you can see I wasn't able to, by the gauze that I wore.
