Tea Glorious Tea

Every day at half past three.
I have the strangest urge for tea;
an ancient afternoon tradition.
I never have put up a fight,
because I've always had the right
to follow my preferred traditions.

But there's not a drop in the pot to be found
and the kettle doesn't seem to work.
But there's no way to stop, this strange craving I've got,
So I'll just close my eyes and imagine..

Tea, glorious tea. There's nothing else like it.
Fifteen cups a day. That sounds about right then.
Darjeeling or Ceylon tea;
Assam or Earl Grey.
Let's not forget herbal blends and English Breakfast.
Tea, glorious tea. I'm anxious to buy it.
Oolong everyday; Chai when I feel like it.
It's great after a hard day's work;
or whenever you please.
Oh, tea! Wonderful tea! Marvelous tea! Glorious tea!

Tea, glorious tea. Imported from china.
Imperial Earl Grey, there's nothing else finer.
I like the red berry teas.
I like everyday.
Twinings make the finest blends of Lady Grey.
Tea. Glorious tea. In bone china teacups.
On a busy day, I'd recommend Starbucks.
When they ask you what you'd like,
There's only one thing to say!
That's tea! Once again, tea! Fabulous tea! Glorious tea!

Tea! Glorious tea! Don't care what it looks like.
Black, green, white or red! Don't care what it smells like.
Just thinking of Keemun tea,
gives me a warm feeling.
Maybe I should add some milk to my Darjeeling!
Tea! Glorious tea! Crisp, Rosehip Hibiscus.
Rich, Indian Prince tastes great with digestives!
Why must I be fated to,
do nothing but dream,
of tea! Magical tea! Wonderful tea! Marvelous tea! Fabulous tea!
Beautiful tea!

Glorious tea!
