This World

This world isn't what you think
Don't close your eyes , please don't blink
They've blinded us from what life is
They hide things from us as though we are kids
We don't even know the world in which we live
I'm giving up I've given all I can give
Fairy tales have come alive 
They make it hard for others to thrive
I don't understand why they do this to us
Hiding things, like secrecy is a must
They create a world in which they want us to believe
I don't understand what they are trying to achieve
Just live your fake lives and try to blend in
I guess we will all find out in the end
