A Rose's Heart

To a field of roses, I’ll bring you there
From prickles it is, the pain I’ll bear
Though thorns were cruel, glitters that stare
They flutter around, twirling in the air
How monochrome it is, with crimson scent
Though fate will die, love’s not bent

The redolence embrace your hands so lucid
As zephyr blows petals, so tranquil and placid
I’ll hold it for eternity though heart will bleed
No roses from miles, expresses my need
Together we’ll stride, hand to hand
The wind swings my cape as your chiffon dress stand

We’ll ride on Victoria’s classical wheels
As roses shine with vibrant frills
So vivid it was, the path it fills
Nothing on sight, just roses no dills
We’ll travel this endless bloom in Springs
Vanishing winters, from grief it clings

Forever it is, our tour shall be
Will you hold my palm, and journey with me?
