The man with no heart beat.

The man with no heart beat.

MINA
The sun was hot, the wind was strong. He held me tight in his arms.
I couldn’t feel the heat, because I was being carried by his dead feet.
As he held my head to his chest, I listened and it was apparent he was still at rest.
How could I fear this man, when he had saved me from them?
Could a man as cold as ice with no heart to hear, be my savior far and near?

COUNT
She was so tiny, yet so tough.
There was nothing left of her, besides her beauty, they had taken her dignity.
Dignity, I wonder what it means.
I wonder of so many things, that I will in time, figure out.
But I wonder if I will ever find the secret of love.
