He Saved Her

Blood his own poetic justice
The blade against her skin
One then another
The blade dances, the wounds sing
Their own death melody
More they cry
The tears in her eyes
He stops, he wasn't the person
He was before all of this
Changed his life death did
Showed him a new path
He could have whoever he wanted

He drank to much
His breath stank
One drunk night he wandering
Inside her head, inside her mind
The others followed
Not wanting to be alone
They watched on in horror
As he tore her life apart
The blood flowed way to often

The girl at her wits end
Meds found their way
Down her throat
The number climbing
One last breath and her lips turn blue
But in a moment of pity
He saved her
Forced the poison out
He stared at everyone
They all covered their eyes
None would speak of it

This would be his secret
His to keep alone
Until she tries again
Why can't he save her?
From the evil no one can see
From the evil inside her
For the world to see
