Promises

I said, "write me a poem."
write me a poem
that will break my heart
and make me fall in love with you
all at the same time"

Write me a poem with your lips
And use my mouth as paper.
Use my entire body if my mouth doesn't supply enough room.

You're rubber and I'm glue
So anything you say..
Just sticks to me.
It adheres to my shaky soul
And I remember every line.

I remember every chance
I've had to kiss you.
I memorize them like lines to
Our favorite poems.

I sometimes quote them to you
With the way I stand
And the way I look at you,
And sometimes I hope you notice.

I hope you notice one day
And say to me, "kiss me.
Kiss me hard like a tsunami
But soft like a Sunday drizzle."

Ill kiss you however, wherever you want.
But I can't promise
That I won't be in love with you right after.
