What's a smile?
I only know how to frown.
What's the sky?
I only look at the ground.
What is happiness?
That's a definition I've never found
How can one be happy,
When sadness is all around?

Have you ever felt so bad,
That you wanted it all to end?
Leave your old life,
Just to begin it all over again?
Ever felt so sick and tired,
Of being the unwanted friend?
Ever need a shoulder to lean on,
But not a soul would lend?

They say depression is a choice,
But tell me, who'd choose to feel this bad?
Why would anyone ever want,
To feel this down and sad?
"Get over it, it gets better." They say,
It makes me so mad.
If I were to end it all,
Would you care, or even be glad?
