Snow

Oh so short
how short my summer was
three weeks total
and now winters begun

sky melts away
replaced by dreadful clouds
no more light
darkness swells the air

give me reason
a reason not to
only one reason
to enjoy the snow

Alaska is cold
to cold for summer
three months only
six months of winter
