A devious, twisted mind;
I have fallen in love with a devious, twisted mind.
Through all the bending and breaking,
normal doesn't seem right...
I'm questioning my sanity, I know this isn't alright.
I see past the flaws, to the innocence within,
Just to forget, when there is another sin.
You're not the only one who plays these little games.
You and I, we're just the same.
Getting in your head is something I'm good at.
Keeping me out, I doubt you can prevent that.
My love, I can cause you a lot of pain, even though in the end I have nothing to gain.
I keep you around as a little pet,
Just to make sure there's nothing to regret.
I enjoyed changing who you were.
Molding, mutating, creating, destroying the things you could be;
Just to make sure you would stay with me.
I am dark, I am twisted;
something most wouldn't have listed.
To turn you into a monster, so nobody else would love you...
As you changed, I did too...making sure what happened to me, happened to you.
See? We are killing each other slowly...
It's love, that deadly emotion that keeps me.
If you were somebody else, I would just throw you away, like everybody else I didn't want to stay.
I feel this settling in, this strange emtion...
I'm not fond of it because it means getting attached , but for you I'd rather stay...
because without me...I know you wouldn't live anyway...
