Never before had I realized
That emotions can cause physical pain
That they can bend you double as you try to hold in the tears
That they can bring you to your knees
Because your legs can no longer support you
That the sadness, discouragement, failure
Is no longer something intangiable
But a living, breathing thing
That breaks you just as much as a physical punch would
The tightness in your chest makes it impossible for you to breathe
Words can't even describe...anything of what you're feeling
It's just...too overwhelming
And you know you can't talk about it
You would only break down
And that wouldn't solve anything
It would just get you pity
Which would just make it worse
Compound the discouragement
Worsen the sadness
Hightlight the failure
