Nothing

Laughter filled the air as,
Monsters screamed my name.
A field of paper flowers,
Whispered out hollow words
I could not bare.

I hold on to what is left,
That keeps me attached to nothing.
I watched you keep on swearing,
Promises that seem like nothing

I watch the storm progress into thunder
And rain pour out this shrieking shudder,
That cursed trough my veins.
As my blood turns to ice,
And my face pale like white paint
I stare at the mess of things
And everything began to erase.
