Together in the moonlight
looking up at the sky.
Eyes opened
Hearts closed.
We want to speak,
but too much is between us.
Youth and age
The difference between us.
Laws prevent our touch
A kiss is punishable.
But the thoughts I feel
The feelings I think
Cannot be suppressed by mere words
spoken by a judge,
who thinks he knows better.

But that is not an option.

Fathers would blow,
