It’s been awhile,
Since I last saw you.

That smiling face and blue eyes
So happily laughing.

I miss that face,
Your happiness made me happy.

Now it’s all so faded.
Nothing remains the same.

The drugs overtook you,
You’re now a walking corpse.
To my dismay.

I warned you about this,
But you didn’t listen.

I poured my heart out to you!
Every drop of me was yours!
Why did you leave me?

I needed you.
You’re my rock,
I was lost.

I’m walking blind,
Going at this road alone.
