When We Kiss
Adrenaline runs through me,
My heart beats crooked,
A shock like lightning,
And then a calm like after a storm,
Then a thrill like raving,
Then your lips leave mine and I see that look in your eyes,
The one that tells my you aren't mine,
I love you,
I whisper even though i know those three words wont be returned,
Then comes the pain like being dragged oh so harshly across a bed of blades,
You see the pain in my eyes and dont seem to care,
Like rubbing salt into my wounds.
