Your Insecurities

The thoughts you think I'm thinking
race through your mind.
Obsessions pervade you,
creeping inside.
The air that you breathe
is riddled with doubt.
A crippling disease
that you spread with each shout.

You try to blame me
because you feel insecure.
You beg me to tell you
if my motives were pure.
In your mind you're the victim
of my constant threat.
In mine, you make drama,
and create false regret.

You're a hypocrite too,
because despite what you say,
you use their same methods
to spread your decay.
Spin your web,
but I'm not a fly.
I refuse to be wrapped in your
self obsessed lie.

I wrote this about someone who created a situation out of nothing. This person tried to make me feel guilty because I don't tell them what I think about what they say. They told me that it makes me really intimidating to them. Somehow they made me get involved in a really long, over dramatic conversation. I'm trying to not blame the person too much for being insecure, but I really didn't need their crap.
