Lemons

You said we had to have a centralized idea
So here it is
A lemon is as yellow as only a lemon can be
And I see it because I have eyes, obviously

The lemon is also bumpy, sort of
Almost like a toad
Or something else that’s bumpy
Which I can feel because I, as most humans do, have that ability

A lemon tastes sour like a grape that’s not ripe
Or maybe like a Granny Smith Apple, I don’t know
But I know that most people can’t eat lemons just on their own
Because we have taste buds and lemons are too sour to eat without sugar

Lemons smell almost like they taste
Which is sour enough to make someone’s eyes water
And stings your nose if you bring it too close to the lemon
Which is a stupid thing to do

Kaitlyn informed me that the last sense is hearing,
Because I forgot
But you can’t really hear lemons
Because they don’t talk
