Untitled

There’s a monster in my bed,
And he’s singing me to sleep.
There are ghosts in my head,
Their whispers make me weep.
Death lingers in the doorway,
My soul he shall reap.
There’s a skeleton in my closet,
My secrets he shall keep.

This monster’s been here for years,
Singing me songs of lies.
I place my hand over my ears,
And drown him out with my cries.

These ghosts have been here quite a while,
They’re voices from the past.
They taunt, and screech, and yell,
Who knows how long it’ll last.

There’s a monster in my bed,
And he’s singing me to sleep.
There are ghosts in my head,
Their whispers make me weep.
Death lingers in the doorway,
My soul he shall reap.
There’s a skeleton in my closet,
My secrets he shall keep.

Death beckons me to follow him,
And I’m tempted to oblige,
For life is looking dull and dim,
Through these marionette eyes.

There’s a monster in my bed,
And he’s singing me to sleep.
There are ghosts in my head,
Their whispers make me weep.
Death lingers in the doorway,
My soul he shall reap.
There’s a skeleton in my closet,
My secrets he shall keep.

The skeleton is my only friend,
The things I tell him are kept hidden.
He’ll hold my secrets even after I die,
Speaking of them is forbidden.

There’s a monster in my bed,
And he’s singing me to sleep.
There are ghosts in my head,
Their whispers make me weep.
Death lingers in the doorway,
My soul he shall reap.
There’s a skeleton in my closet,
My secrets he shall keep.
