Hold Your Love A Little Tighter

A child sleeps forever now,
And you cant help but think,
This world has reached its end,
And its coming to its brink.
Children will never again,
Feel their parents hugs.
No loving kiss from Grandma,
Or a feeling of unconditioned love.
Christmas will never come,
Or a Happy Birthday song.
The feeling is only wrong,
Wrong wrong wrong.
There are bastards in the world,
And they crowd among the masses.
Theyll do as we do,
Live like they can.
I dont understand though,
How killing entered their plan.
How can you hurt, or molest, or beat,
An innocent child without caring at all.
The poor little one who will never see another day,
I cant express this any other way.
Hold your love a little tighter,
Parents who still have the chance,
Because it can be taken away,
Just as fast as can be known.
Hold your love a little tighter,
And say how much you care.
Say youll always be there for them,
Even when life is busy,
Because life is short and more precious than most realize.
Say you love them more than air,
And grab them close.
Hold your love a little tighter,
Because someone, somewhere, can't.
