Only Friend

Pick at the scabs some more,
I watch as i bleed some more.
I pick up the razor,
Flipping the shiny little object in my hand.

Let me tell you a story,
About my old friend.
It was a razor of course,
Letting my pain slip away,
Turning into ecstasy.

This little sharp object was all mine,
Never lied to me.
This little thing,
Never told my dirty little secret.

Let me tell you a story,
It was in the middle of the night.
My little friend was helping me,
With some bigger problems this time.

The cuts got deeper,
I was floating.
Never had my friend wanted to hurt me,
It was giving me an escape.

An escape was all I asked my friend for,
To be let free.
An escape was to easy though,
I wanted more.

Let me tell you the ending of this sad little story,
I slipped out of my body.
I saw my friend in my hand,
It was blushing,
My brother needed to stop staring,
Couldn't he tell My friend was embarrassed.

The blood dripped off of my body,
Leaving nice little stains on the pale floor.
I looked upon my body,
Never did I want to look like that.
I was nothing.
A waist of space.

My friend,
It set me free.
Into a world of darkness,
Leaving scars behind,
To mark it's spot in owner ship.
