Sugar Wrapped

Sugar wrapped by love, you pretended to wait
But all the emotions were hidden under your batman cape
Where you disguised the good man hidden under
While your friends cried out like a storm with thunder.

You never were someone who was relieved to tell
The others what was hidden in your minds crazy hell
Because everyone will always see,
no one can understand who you wish to be.

We were yours friends, your highest loves
But you raised your nose high above
You true soul.

You pretended we weren't worth your higher goal.
It led you down a road that would tear you down,
make you frown
and push me away from your entire life.
Take you down a road full of strife.

Sometimes I believed I should cry in your name
But it wasn't my fault you fell for the vain
Life... Falling hard.
Always pulling the too good for you card..
How could you throw away the trust?
For vain's corruptive lust?

I would have sacrificed my life to save you from that death.
I would have given every single breathe
That exhales out my body
But you had to turn out to be extremely snotty.

Why did you push me back?
Why did I have to the emotions that you lack?

So sugar coat your soul with as much bling as desire.
Because what we had was a fire
That turned cold
Never again reaching the level when we were so bold
as to stand as one.
This relationship is done.

Goodbye my love of vain wealth.
We'll see who was wrong when you no longer live in good health.
Because without family, you are lost.
Someday you will realize what your actions truly cost.

So sugar wrapped in love, your soul was once sweet,
but then that love began to deplete.
