upon walking into a grocery store
and there she was.
JESUS.
she had a leather jacket with a fur
hoodie, possibly Italian,
possibly fox fur.
i couldn't get a good look at those
eyes, but god damn it
i could only imagine,
only imagine.
she had legs, let
me tell you!
she had them all the way
to HEAVEN.
hair of a coffee bean
shade, and skin like a baby,
like a porcelain doll.
not one of those rip offs either.
she had real class, this one. she had
a body
and legs
and that smile.
JESUS!
that smile.
when i went to load my grocery's outside,
light post above the two of us,
my dodge looking toward the streets and
her Mercedes toward the store,
i swear i could see stars
but they were only
the distant light posts
over the building.
JESUS.
