Night Quatrain

Galaxies dot the night sky
Planets make their rounds
And constellations idly paint
Their beauteous portraits.

As twilight fizzles out,
And darkness takes over,
The owls and nocturnals
Croon their morose songs.

The brightly shining moon
Watches over the nocturnals,
Silently and stilly,
She brings light to a caliginous environment.

Comets and meteors streak,
Blazing across the dark purlieu
Of the beautiful pureness
That is the quiescent dusk.
