If I Only Knew

I stand under the moon as it lights the desert sands
Where I stand bare and nude to the harsh elements of the world
As the winds are hurled upon my skin
As I begin my journey
Leaving foot prints that are to only be blown away
They will all be gone at the end of the day
My travels continue with my sin written hands
Baring the mark of the beast for I am man
Life to suffer as the damned
As marks of sin run rapid across my face
To show my complete disgrace
Further down I go to where fire burns black
And whispers echo bouncing forward and back
None are to be seen though
Endless abandonment
Alone here I sit against the cold ridged steel gates
Looking for someone to save me from this fate
As screams shriek from others torture
And uncertain closure
For what ive done
Looking upon the marks on my wrist that have been slit
Unable to run from my problems now
