Lies

Convinced you all things were perfectly fine.
Told you I was great, not to waste your time.
Made you believe I was in a better place.
Oh how I've managed to perfect this poker face.
Never a question, or even a suspicion.
You all believed my lies were nonfiction.
How risible I am, with my life of pretend.
But one of which I will defend.
3,000 miles away, who will possibly find out?
It'll be my little secret, another thing I lie about.
No harm done, just small fabrications.
My words of wisdom to comfort my condemnation.
