In My Imagination

Spontanuity and carelessness
Caress my inner beast
And on your mind and body
Remembered piece by piece.
I recreate your curvature
To likings of my own
Taking care and pleasure
When I am left alone.
I place you along side me
With a false love in your head
With slumber and the morning
I must think you dead.
Only on my own
Do I see darkness run from light
When imagery takes hold of me
And lonelines brings sight.
I pretend to feel your heartbeat
Eating at my soul
And as my fake world lulls me,
It's never you I'll hold.

How I cope with life instead of turning to use and abuse of anything. Pretending someone wants to be with me is a lot easier than facing the truth
