Something Special

What is it about you that drives me insane?
What can possibly be so amazing about you that
Makes me want to be at your side all the time?
Is it your eyes? Oh, your eyes,
Those magnificent pools of blue that has my mind
Swimming in them every time you look at me.
They, as cliché as it sounds, make me feel as if I could stare at them for eternity.
Amongst the blue there are little specks of gold that swirls around your irises dancing happily,
Making my heart skip a beat every time I steal a glance at them.
It’s amazing how much your eyes hold within them.
Passion, mischief, and a certain light that only your eyes seem to posses.
That light is the same light that brightens my mornings every day.
It’s the same light that engulfs my mind into a state
in which you and your voice is all that matters.
Maybe it’s your voice.
That voice that transmits your knowledge and your thoughts;
It’s the voice I have to hear in order to feel like my day is complete.
It’s the same voice that sends my heart into
a frenzy every time I hear it near me.
Your voice is like a perfect lullaby that I’d love to fall asleep to.
Your sweet, yet strong voice would put an angel’s voice to shame for sure.
Then there’s your smile.
Oh, your beautiful stunning smile,
Adorned by those seemingly soft, pink lips.
Your smile is so bright it makes the sun rage with jealousy
And the moon hide its mediocre glow at the mere sight of it.
Every time you smile my life seems to get a bit better.
There is something about your smile that is so contagious
It makes me smile just thinking about it.
The way you act. The way you talk. The way you walk.
The way of you of being…you.
