His Grace

I can’t seem to breathe
As I walk alone I dream
I was far from everyone
A long ocean marked for miles
The sun desperately gleaming down
The wind whipped gently
The problems whispering out loud
As my hair shifted as I closed my eyes
And raised my hands I knelt to the ground

I screamed out loud
“Please carry home
I will ever be yours
Take me home, Take me home”

I desperately wait for you to bring down your hands
As your warmth carries me away
I wait for you to carry me home
But you told me to wait longer
I redeemed these crises but what more do I need to release?

And He said,
“Leave everything onto me
I will carry you home
I will help you breathe again”

I felt your hands wash over me
I understand this is your way
I stood up with tears of joy running down my face
I understood your grace
As I opened my eyes
As I walked down this empty road
I know that I am not alone
I can breathe again
Knowing that this will all be okay.
