How easy it is for you to say that
You're not the one that's been kicked in the teeth
Punched in the gut
Had the rug pulled out from under you

That no matter how hard you try

You aren't trying to support me
Aren't trying to help
Aren't saying "It's going to be okay"
Even when that's all I really want to hear
You don't have to fix my problems
I know you have those of your own
But comfort goes a long way
