The One Above

The one above, lone and pure,
He’s the only one.
The rest, bad but popular,
All the while make fun.
They see him as an outcast;
They think he’s so naïve,
But what everybody does,
He could not conceive.
He’s the only one that’s right
In the age of now.
The pride of danger, the risk of trouble,
And still they take a bow.
There aren’t many like him,
He is one of a kind,
The only one who’s smart enough
To speak with his own mind.
Everyone that’s underneath,
To him, are all the same.
Playing with life in their hands,
Like it’s all just a game.
The one above knows better than
To be dragged down below,
He is the better person
And that’s all he needs to know.
