Shattered

I see the words on the page
So plainly writ
You loved another
And left me to drift
I shouldn't hurt
But it's no surprise
You never told me you'd be by my side
All I had was hope
That slowly died
I feel my heart splinter
And begin to break
It lies in shattered parts
