I stood outside

I stood outside last night
standing under the clouds dropping snow
It felt so very lovely
It wasn't really cold

I stood outside last night
to be in nature's grace
Resting in contentment
as the snow danced upon my face

I stood outside last night
but now it is the dawn
all that stands where i stood is a shiny pile of snow
Becoming a part of the white blanket, I'm beautiful at last
