My Little Cellar Door
When I was a child
I was lonesome and scared
And trusted very few people
I needed a place
Were I could escape
Reality and all its darkness
That’s when I saw it
As I walked through the woods
Hidden within the trees
A little door
Hidden in the floor
Mad of iron and tough old wood
So I ran back home
And grabbed my torch
And said I was going to explore
And of I went
With a spring in my step
Off to the cellar door
I opened it up
And turned on my torch
To see what was inside
As I stepped in
My head started to spin
With all the things it could be
So the cellar started filling
With different creatures
And places that I could be
I spent all my days
In that little cellar door
Playing with new found friends
But sadly as I got older
My mind had forgotten
All of the adventures I had
Then one day
I walked along
The back of my old house
When I saw it
As I walked through the woods
Hidden within in the trees
That little cellar door
That I once explored
So many years ago
I was lonesome and scared
And trusted very few people
I needed a place
Were I could escape
Reality and all its darkness
That’s when I saw it
As I walked through the woods
Hidden within the trees
A little door
Hidden in the floor
Mad of iron and tough old wood
So I ran back home
And grabbed my torch
And said I was going to explore
And of I went
With a spring in my step
Off to the cellar door
I opened it up
And turned on my torch
To see what was inside
As I stepped in

With all the things it could be
So the cellar started filling
With different creatures
And places that I could be
I spent all my days
In that little cellar door
Playing with new found friends
But sadly as I got older

All of the adventures I had

When I saw it
As I walked through the woods
Hidden within in the trees
