True Beauty Within You

It's been an issue all my life.
I pass by and see smirks and sighs.
Everyone always makes fun of the fat girl passing by.

Slim pretty girls always get noticed by guys
and us heavy girls don't even get a gentleman to say hi.

Fitting in the beauty of today's society is criminal,
but I'm tired of trying hard to be accepted and
I've decided to stand my ground.

With all my will power I'l be on my way to a blissful
healthier being. Whether It'll take me a year or a lifetime..
though I'm making changes I did learn to love me and my body
for what is is and what I'll become.

I'm going to enjoy the obstacles I'll face throughout my journey
even if it'll be tough. Dedication is all a mind game you have to set.
