Fog

Fog
Fog
You can’t see through or past
Somewhat dirty, unclean
Slowly floating above the bog
Hiding the ghosts you’ve never seen
It’s why you get lost
Its why your heart races
Because the cost for getting lost
Finding unfamiliar faces
And cobwebs in various places
Never follow the fog
It will confuse you
And never bring you back
It will take you like a sticky note
And pin you up with a shiny color coded tack
Wait for blue skies
And for the sun to rise high
Because the fog will never return
Until the rain comes again
