The Storm

Settle the tide,
Waves violently crashing,
Destroying the structures,
The buildings adorn with bright colors,

Dilapidated and colors run,
The roads cracked and flooded,
Floating bodies,
Of the unfortunate citizens,

The wind blowing over every house,
For miles and miles,
Everything will be left to ruin,
Nothing left to pick up,

The winds whip up a cyclone,
Pick up the masses,
Small unknowing children,
Adult addicts and working class alike,

Crying aloud in vain,
Prayers unheard,
Huddling close,
Embracing the end,

Apocalyptical chaos,
No where to run for cover,
To hide and find shelter,
The end is here,

Nothing to rely on,
No one to help,
No way to battle it,
Just let it destroy you,

Power exploding in sparks,
Wires running rapid through the sky,
Slapping the ground,
Electrocuting the men and women in the water,

Drowing in the rapids,
Taking its course,
On this city on the shoreline,
Violently ripping a path of destruction,

Lightening illuminating the sky,
Thunder piercing the ear,
Ringing and blinding,
So beautifully devastating,

This hellish landscape,
Is fates scorn,
All these sinners on the ground,
Feel the wrath they needed,

In the end,
The calm, peace left,
The land lay flat,
With debris and bodies,

Not one survivor lives,
Not a person to tell the tale,
Alone in this vast emptiness,
Death littering the broken streets and broken down structures,

The only suprise,
Is there is no mourning of these deaths,
All of this kept secret,
No one knows of the chaos ensued moments ago,

Brainwashed into believing nothing happened,
Happier with ignorance,
All the tragedy and death is ignored,
So the world can go around with a smile,

The plague of the world is apathy,
Tragedy is commonly known,
Known in third person,
As long as it stays like that no one will care,
No one will ever care
